The M34 F8 Date features a traditional design with three central hands for hours, minutes and seconds, a date display at 3 o’clock and the Orient Star’s iconic power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock.
This model features an intricate embossed pattern inspired by the Perseid meteor shower, as seen on earlier blue-dial models. The design uses optical multilayer film technology to create beautiful shifts in color and pattern depending on the viewing angle. This in-house developed optical multilayer technology creates tonal effects on a metal plate by layering nano-scale, near-transparent films that control the reflectivity and transmittance of light. Using this technology, it is possible to express the depth of outer space, which is not possible with ordinary painted dials.
The M34 F8 Date is not only unique in appearance and quality, but also extremely practical, making it an attractive everyday timepiece.
